Angela's vision drives The Liberation12 Foundation's direction and development. Her passion is to enrich the lives of formerly-exploited people by providing the funds necessary to establish rehabilitation programs that empower trafficking survivors.
Utilizing her Master of Accountancy from Walsh College and experience at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, as a not-for-profit auditor, Angela makes integral decisions to prepare for Liberation12's future. Angela believes in the organization's niche within the SE Michigan, anti-trafficking community.
Co-Founder and General Advising Officer
Darren's heart for service has propelled The Liberation12 Foundation's growth from the earliest stages. His desire to help others speaks strongly to the heart Liberation12.
Applying his Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Darren's insight shapes the organization's philosophy and operating goals. Additionally, Darren's education addresses social entrepreneurship, and his experience observing successful not-for-profit organizations contributes greatly to the team's knowledge.
Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer
Maria's organizational skills and creative flair enhance The Liberation12 Foundation's forward momentum. Her bookkeeping experience at Hope House Detroit and auditing career at KPMG US, LLP, have prepared her for the organization's future needs.
Drawing on her Master of Accountancy from Wayne State, Maria collaborates with the team to implement strategies that ensure Liberation12's long-term success. Maria also volunteers as a girls club sponsor at Hope House Detroit.
General Advising Officer
Kelsey's analytical abilities influence The Liberation12 Foundation's decision-making and direction. Her foresight establishes frameworks for the organization's goal-setting objectives.
Kelsey's experience with photography, sewing, and various creative endeavors has contributed to the social enterprise segment of the organization.
Kelsey holds a Bachelor of Exercise Science from Anderson University.
